According to the data, Changan Ford sold 55,603 vehicles in the first quarter, accounting for less than 10% of the total Changan Automobile Group. In terms of sales of sub-brands within the passenger car segment, the Changan brand is still the main sales force, with a cumulative sales volume of 354,277 units in the first quarter, with an average monthly sales volume of more than 100,000 units, and the main sales force is still the Changan CS series, of which the CS75 sold more than 30,000 units in March, becoming one of the highest-selling independent SUV models.
In particular, it is worth mentioning that while the sales volume continues to grow, Changan Automobile's growth quality is also excellent, and the proportion of new energy sales has increased sharply, including AVATAR, Deep Blue, Qiyuan and other brands, Changan New Energy has sold 128,806 vehicles in the first quarter, a year-on-year increase of more than 52%, accounting for 30% of Changan's independent passenger car share, becoming one of the most successful car companies in the transformation of traditional brands into new energy. In the first quarter of 2024, Changan Automobile's overseas sales reached 108,951 units, a year-on-year increase of 80.1%, with an average monthly overseas sales of more than 30,000 units, making it one of the car companies with the best overseas performance in independent overseas expansion.
