Patane Food Court is a new image of food in the market
The Patane Food Court is open from 7am to 10pm and has more than 200 seats, serving a wide range of specialties including regional Chinese cuisine, Southeast Asian cuisine, Japanese and Korean cooked food, Western cooked food, Japanese sashimi, sushi, Chinese stir-fry, steaming, beverages and desserts.

IAM hopes that the Patane Food Court will create a new image of a market food court with a comfortable environment, high-quality services, affordable prices and honest operation.
IAM has also arranged outsourced integrated management services to assist in the cleanliness and daily hygiene of the dining area, bringing a better dining experience to the public, dining in the food court, tasting a variety of delicacies, and overlooking the 180-degree Inner Harbour River, becoming a new dining venue for residents and tourists.
After the reorganization, the market resumed business and five new stalls were stationed
The renovation works of the 80-year-old Bird Park Market were reopened in January this year after the completion of renovation and facility enhancement at the end of last year, and the renovation works not only retained the original building appearance of the Bird Tsai Park Market, but also installed air-conditioning and ventilation systems, improved the lighting system, added barrier-free public toilets and facilities, and adjusted the ratio of male and female toilets.
At the same time, the layout of the market has been adjusted, and after the original 13 meat stalls, fish stalls, frozen meat stalls and vegetable stalls have resumed business, the remaining 5 stalls have also been officially opened after trial operation.
Some vendors have adopted the unpackaged "naked buying" method to allow consumers to bring their own containers to buy natural or organic grains and oils from different countries and regions, reducing disposable plastic packaging and promoting environmental protection and green living.
There are also stalls selling light and vegetarian dishes such as shredded chicken, salads and drinks, as well as a high-pitched bar in the atrium of the market for consumers to stop and enjoy snacks, as well as stalls selling frozen aquatic products, meat products and spiced groceries.
The New Market Law introduces open bidding to solicit active operators
In addition to the upgrading of space, environment and facilities, improvements have also been made to the management mode of the market. Unlike vacant market stalls in the past, which were allocated by registration ballot, the 15 stalls at the Patane Food Court and the Pak Tsai Yuen Market were solicited by open auction in accordance with the relevant requirements of the Public Market Management System.
The judging panel selected the successful bidders based on five key criteria, including the bidder's business strategy, experience and qualifications, the daily operating hours of the stalls, the diversity of the types of goods and the convenience of payment instruments. IAM will also meet regularly with stall owners to strengthen communication and jointly build a good business environment.
