Choosing vegetables, washing vegetables, cutting vegetables, and then stir-frying a few plates of home-cooked dishes, these housework that they have not usually done much, in this "food education class", primary school students have really experienced and learned once.
On April 18, on the occasion of the coming of the Guyu solar term, the Guyu Sowing Festival, the theme practice activity of "Green Lights Up Life, Health Protects Life" opened in Zhengzhou. At the sowing festival, in addition to allowing the students to experience sowing seeds and crop planting, chefs were also specially invited to give a unique "cooking and food education class" to the students.
"Do you think it's hard to cook?" the teacher had just asked the question, and the students began to answer.
"It's not difficult, I'll make my own omelette!"
"I wish I could just cut the vegetables and have someone guide me through the cooking steps!"
"It's a little hard, I want to throw the vegetables into the pot and stir-fry the dishes by myself!"
The teacher told everyone that cooking is not difficult, and the cooking made by yourself is not only clean and delicious, but also deepens the deep emotional connection with the family.
The children washed the tomatoes, fungus, lotus root, garlic sprouts, beat the eggs, and with the guidance and assistance of the chef, soon, a few dishes of "garlic sprout eggs" and "lotus pond moonlight" were made, and they tasted it, and it was really delicious to make themselves!
The purpose of this event is to actively carry out the education of "learning agriculture, knowing agriculture, and loving agriculture" among primary and secondary school students, so that children can participate in labor practice, draw nutrition from labor, and develop good habits of loving labor, cherishing food, and respecting nature from an early age.
