According to Thai media news, on April 18, the spokesman of the Thai Prime Minister's Office Cha Vacharon revealed that the cabinet meeting on the same day passed a resolution to approve the preparation of measures between Thailand and Kazakhstan on visa waiver agreement in accordance with the proposal of the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The spokesperson said that the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan will pay an official visit to Thailand from April 21 to 24, when the two sides will formally sign the agreement on the 23rd. As for the details of the agreement, it stipulates that passport holders with a validity period of not less than 6 months will be able to stay in the other country's country without a visa for up to 30 days, for a total of 90 days within 180 days.

At the same time, the agreement is valid indefinitely and will enter into force 30 days after all procedures have been fully processed.
