The exhibition is divided into three units: "Tea Zen One Taste", "Flowers and Birds", and "One Period, One Meeting", through teaware, lacquerware, ukiyo-e and other representative utensils of Japanese culture, to intuitively show the craftsmanship of the utensils to the Chinese audience, and interpret the beauty of the transmutation and integration of Japanese culture.

The first unit, "Tea Zen One Taste", exhibits tea cans, vases, incense boxes, tea room utensils, etc., showing the basic ideas and spirit of the Japanese tea ceremony. The second unit, "Flowers, Birds, Wind and Moon", exhibits lacquerware, supplies made with maki-e techniques, and seal cages. The third unit is called "One Phase and One Session". Ukiyo-e is an important symbol of Japanese popular culture, the culture of the Edo period, and is like an "encyclopedia" of the Edo period.
