When I finally got the keys and stepped into this small 65-square-meter three-bedroom home, I knew that this was not only a new world, but also a canvas for my dreams. Although my family's opinions echoed in my ears from time to time, a voice deep down told me that this would be the stage I designed myself.
Rather than go out of my way to renovate it, I decided to give it a new lease of life on top of the original. The floor is the first step, and the warm woody touch instantly brings the whole space to life. The hard decoration is extremely simple, but it leaves infinite possibilities for the transformation of the soft decoration.
As time went on, I slowly injected my own taste into this space. Every piece of furniture, every painting, every decoration is the result of my careful selection. Especially the little second-hand cabinet that I have loved for a long time, I can't help but feel happy when it finally arrives – it fits perfectly into my home, as if it has been there all along.
Every arrival of new furniture is accompanied by a small anticipation and excitement. I enjoy every change after the set-up because it means that my home is one step closer to what I want it to be. Even small changes can make me feel the freshness of life and the warmth of home.
This 64.7-square-meter space, although not large, carries all my visions of life. Here, I am the true owner, writing the story of my own home in my own unique way. Every detail speaks of my personality, and every change reflects my attitude towards life.
