The formaldehyde content in my house is exceeded!
This sentence is normal in a newly renovated room, but my family has been living in it for five years! If it weren't for the fact that I bought an air quality detector on a whim a few days ago, I would have been kept in the dark
I've done tests in many places in my house and found that the wardrobe has the highest values. This also shows that what really causes the formaldehyde content in my house to exceed the standard is custom furniture.
In fact, it's not just the formaldehyde problem, the existing custom furniture in my house, because it has withstood the baptism of the back to the south and the rainy season, has also had the problem of mold and deformation early▽
This completely strengthened my determination to change furniture, and after doing some homework, I focused on the custom furniture brand Hollywood whole house customization, especially their original pure aldehyde bamboo board - it is said that this board not only has zero addition of formaldehyde to the base material, but also purifies formaldehyde in the air!

.01 Not only formaldehyde-free, but also aldehyde-clean
Before I started to buy, I learned that the board also has an environmental protection grade, and the lowest formaldehyde emission is the ENF grade (≤0.025mg/m³). The most important thing to achieve this grade is to use formaldehyde-free adhesives.
There are two main types of formaldehyde-free adhesives on the market:
• Soybean gum - low cost, but also low viscosity, the quality of the board is poor.
• MDI adhesive - the cost is slightly higher, but the environmental protection and practicality are also undoubted.
Obuchi suggested: When buying a board, you can't ignore its practicability, and the board that will break down in a few days is useless even if the environmental protection level is high. Therefore, identifying MDI adhesive is the first step in choosing the right plate.
If it had been before, I would probably have only chosen a so-called eco-friendly board that uses MDI glue. But after experiencing the tragic "formaldehyde is still exceeding the standard after five years of occupancy", I think it is not enough, I also need a board that can purify my formaldehyde, which is the case of Hollywood's original pure aldehyde bamboo board.
Not only is there no formaldehyde added to the substrate during the production process of the board, but it can also effectively purify the air formaldehyde by releasing negative ions for a long time.
Because a special coating is added to the veneer of this board, called "nano net aldehyde ecological coating", the negative oxygen ions it releases can actively decompose formaldehyde at home into water molecules and carbon dioxide, so as to actively purify formaldehyde.
The "Zhuxiaobang Evaluation" has also been specially tested for the negative ion concentration of Hollywood's original pure aldehyde bamboo board. The actual measurement results show that the concentration of negative ions in the original state of Hollywood's pure aldehyde bamboo board reaches 11,000 per cm³, which is 110 times that of ordinary boards.
The staff at Hollywood's store also showed me the power of negative ions: adding smoke to two closed boxes, the negative ions generated by the negative ion lamp quickly adsorbed and settled the smoke in the air, making the box clear quickly, while the box of the ordinary lamp was still smoky.
Comprehensive evaluation videos and store experiments show that negative ions can really purify the air and purify formaldehyde!
.02 Moisture-proof and mildew-proof
In addition to the formaldehyde problem, the mildew in my bathroom cabinets and cabinets has always been a problem for me, so I used bottle after bottle of mold removal spray. But it is not enough to remove mildew, and the long-term dampness has made the board obviously "bloated". Moreover, the mildew on the surface can be removed, but the odor hidden in the depths is endless.
This time, when I really experienced the original pure aldehyde bamboo board in the Hollywood store, I found that it seems to be much better than the common board on the market. The staff also introduced to me that the base material of this board is made of natural bamboo fiber.
After I got home and did my homework, I realized that bamboo fiber has two major advantages:
(1) Bamboo fiber contains an ingredient called "bamboo quinone", which is a unique natural antibacterial ingredient in bamboo, which can effectively prevent mildew and bacteria.
(2) The ultra-fine pore structure of natural bamboo fiber has its own "climate regulation microecology", and has strong and stable moisture absorption and air permeability

If I replace all the furniture in my home with this pristine aldehyde bamboo board, I will no longer need to come into contact with those mold removers that hurt my hands. And it will not mold inside, so it can say goodbye to musty smell completely. More critically:

"Zhuxiaobang Evaluation" also did a boiling water experiment on the original state of Hollywood's pure aldehyde bamboo board:
Soak the board in water for 24 hours, and the thickness of the ordinary board becomes twice that of Hollywood's original pure aldehyde bamboo board. After boiling in boiling water for 120 minutes, Hollywood's original pure aldehyde bamboo board can still maintain its structural integrity, but the ordinary board has been completely boiled.
It has been soaked in water and boiled and it is still not bad, this moisture-proof ability is simply too much in line with my needs, and I am still worried about returning to Nantian!
.03 Anti-deformation

Compared with the first two points, it is the most difficult to judge whether a plate is strong, I think the more reliable way is to check the test report of the plate, after all, the test of a professional organization is very convincing
The nail holding force on the plate surface, the nail holding force on the edge of the plate, the static bending strength and the elastic modulus are the gold indicators to judge whether a plate is durable. And the four parameters of the original pure aldehyde bamboo board that I am going to choose are better than the national standard, and I am finally relieved!
Speaking of which, I'm afraid everyone knows my final choice of custom furniture this time: it is the whole house customization of Hollywood, and I am ready to choose the original state of Hollywood pure aldehyde bamboo board!
