Ecological literature is an important form of expression of ecological culture and a vital force in the construction of ecological civilization. In order to implement the "Opinions of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council on Comprehensively Promoting the Construction of Beautiful China" on "cultivating and promoting ecological culture", "excavating the ideas and resources of excellent traditional Chinese ecological culture, launching a number of masterpieces of ecological literature, and promoting the prosperity and development of ecological culture" and other relevant requirements, further excavate the ecological and cultural heritage of Fengtai District, fully demonstrate the unique charm of Fengtai District in the construction of ecological civilization, cultivate the mainstream values of ecological civilization, and accelerate the formation of national ecological consciousness, the Fengtai District Ecological Literature Essay Contest is specially held.
Requirements
1. Closely follow the theme, and deeply explore the specific practice and effectiveness of ecological civilization construction in Fengtai District under the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization since the 10th anniversary of the coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei. Focusing on the actual cases of Fengtai District in environmental pollution control, ecological protection and restoration, and green industry development, it can show the achievements of Fengtai District in the construction of ecological civilization and the integrated development of new quality productivity.
2. Highlight the characteristics of Fengtai and show the unique charm and innovative spirit of Fengtai District in the construction of ecological civilization. The works can focus on the highlights and characteristics of Fengtai District in the construction of ecological civilization, such as ecological restoration projects, green and low-carbon communities, environmental protection industries, etc.;
3. The works should have strong literary and artistic qualities, and show the beauty and charm of the ecological environment of Fengtai District through vivid depictions and delicate portrayals;
4. Encourage works to pay attention to emotional expression, and convey the concept and importance of ecological environmental protection by telling the stories of individuals or groups in ecological environmental protection practice;
5. The works are mainly essays, reportage and novels, with a word count of more than 2,000 words, and the text is required to be fluent and clear;
6. Entries must be original, and plagiarism and plagiarism of others' works are strictly prohibited;
7. Entries should be created in recent years, unpublished and awarded in other essay competitions;
8. Entrants are required to indicate the author's name, contact information and brief personal introduction at the end of the work;
9. The final interpretation right of this essay belongs to the Beijing Fengtai District Ecological Environment Bureau and the Beijing Fengtai District Federation of Literary and Art Circles.
Selection of works
1. The competition will set up a review team.
2. Invite professionals from the literary and environmental circles inside and outside Fengtai District to serve as members of the jury to ensure the professionalism and fairness of the jury.

A total of 40 outstanding works were selected in this essay contest.
First Prize: 1 winner, 3,000 yuan and honorary certificate;
Second Prize: 3 winners, 2,000 yuan and honorary certificate;
Third Prize: 6 winners, 1,000 yuan and honorary certificate;
Excellence Award: 30 winners, honorary certificates and characteristic cultural and creative products of Fengtai District.
The winning works of this call for essays will be compiled into a book.
The organizer has the right to publicize and promote the award-winning works through newspapers and periodicals, books, new media and recitations, etc., and has the right to contribute to the superior department without paying remuneration, and the author has the right of authorship. All contributors are deemed to have agreed to the terms of this contest.
