From April 15th to April 19th, in order to further strengthen the supervision of campus food safety and ensure the food safety of teachers and students, the County Food Safety Office, together with the County Public Security Bureau, the County Education and Sports Bureau, the County Health Bureau, and the County Market Supervision Bureau, set up an inspection team to carry out a week-long food safety spot check on the county's school canteens.
The inspection team went deep into the school canteen and carried out strict inspections on all aspects of food procurement, storage, processing, and sample retention. The focus was on the purchase channels of food raw materials, the request for certificates and tickets, as well as the sanitary conditions of food processing sites and the maintenance of equipment and facilities. At the same time, the inspection team also checked the health certificates of the canteen employees and the food safety knowledge training records.
During the inspection, the inspection team found that some school canteens had problems such as non-standard food samples, inadequate "three prevention" facilities, poor environmental hygiene, failure to conscientiously carry out purchase inspections, and expired food. In response to these problems, the inspection team put forward rectification opinions on the spot and asked the school to rectify the situation within a time limit. At the same time, the local market supervision office is required to issue a rectification notice and file a case for investigation and punishment on the spot according to the severity of the problem, and feedback the inspection problem to the local party committee and government. The inspection team also emphasized the importance of food safety to the person in charge of the school, and required the school to earnestly fulfill the main responsibility of food safety, strengthen food safety management, and ensure the food safety of teachers and students.
This campus food safety inspection is an important measure of the county food safety office to strengthen campus food safety supervision. In the future, we will continue to strengthen the supervision of campus food safety, regularly supervise and inspect the school canteen, and promptly supervise and rectify problems to ensure the food safety of teachers and students.
