On April 7, the law enforcement officers of the Xicheng District Fire and Rescue Detachment in Beijing received a tip, saying that in China Post Property Management Co., Ltd., the personnel on duty in the fire control room held a fake fire practice qualification certificate. After investigation, two officers on duty in the fire control room of the unit took up their posts with fake certificates, one of whom had a fake certificate obtained from online purchases, and the other person was purchased by calling a small advertising phone on the street. Currently, both are in police custody.

Law enforcement officers arrived at the scene to verify and found that there were 16 officers on duty in the fire control room of the unit, and the certificates of 2 of them could not be queried on the online fire practice skills appraisal examination. Upon inquiry, it was learned that one of the people had purchased his certificate by calling the phone number on a small roadside advertisement, and the other had purchased it online, and neither of them had studied through formal channels or obtained relevant documents through examinations.
The behavior of the two people who did not obtain the fire control room operation qualification certificate did not meet the "General Technical Requirements for Fire Control Room", which was an illegal act of failing to implement fire safety management measures. It is understood that the operator of the central control room belongs to a special type of work, and needs to be certified to work in accordance with the provisions of the fire protection law. If you are not familiar with the relevant business of the fire control room, you will not have the ability to deal with the fire when it occurs, which will lead to serious consequences.

At 6:47 on December 23, 2023, a fire broke out in a high-rise building in a street in Haizhu District, Guangzhou, resulting in one injury and one death. When the firefighters conducted the fire extension investigation, it was found that the fire control room of the building was arranged with personnel who did not have the corresponding conditions on duty. Li Moumou, the property manager in charge of fire safety work, violated the provisions of Article 64 (1) of the Fire Protection Law of the People's Republic of China by instructing relevant personnel without a fire protection facility operator certificate to be on duty and risky operations in the fire control room, and was given an administrative punishment of 10 days of administrative detention.
