"My father had a wish before his death, that is, he wanted to leave these works of his to Shuangliu and stay in his hometown. In 2021, Li Tong and Li Ju, the sons of the late Mr. Li Wenxin, a famous painter in Shuangliu, donated nearly 100 of their representative collection of paintings and calligraphy free of charge according to their father's wishes, hoping to give back to the society and their parents and fellow villagers in this way.
On April 18, the opening ceremony of the Li Wenxin Art Museum was officially held.
"It is hoped that as a cultural communication platform, it will play a greater role in promoting Shuangliu culture and spreading Shuangliu's highly personalized culture and art. Li Ju said.
