Many netizens will have questions about the fact that "Cat Cup" was banned on multiple platforms, but they just fabricated a joke, how could there be such serious consequences? Why should the whole network be banned?
But in fact, the matter is far more serious than we thought.
First of all, fabricating false jokes and spreading them on the Internet is itself a violation of relevant policies and regulations. On March 12, the Hangzhou Yuhang Internet Illegal and Adverse Information Reporting Center reported that after verification, the relevant video was filmed in September 2023, edited and produced in February 2024, and was posted to the network by the MCN agency with a text description of recent occurrences.
