Recently, residents living in the Chima Transit Section of Danzhu Town, Pingnan County, National Highway 241 gave a thumbs up when they looked at the clean highway environment and smooth drainage facilities. This is a microcosm of the Guigang Highway Department's renovation of the transit highway drainage system since March this year and effectively serving the spring ploughing.
In order to do a good job in people's livelihood and promote local economic and social development, in recent years, the Guigang Highway Development Center has actively promoted the diversified and integrated development of "Highway + N", focusing on "Highway + Party Building", "Highway + Industry" and "Highway + Service" to improve the quality of highway services and provide a solid transportation guarantee for local rural revitalization and economic development.
Highway + party building, cohesion and cross-border linkage
In recent years, the Guigang highway department has established a perfect highway traffic party building "organization network" to promote cross-departmental co-construction, co-governance and co-management of highway management.
The "Highway Traffic Pioneer Matrix" party building platform is led by the Guiping Highway Maintenance Center, and jointly created by the Guiping Municipal Transportation Bureau, the Traffic Police Brigade of the Guiping Municipal Public Security Bureau and other units. In recent years, relying on the party building brand, the Guiping Highway Maintenance Center has strengthened the linkage with the traffic police and the transportation department to promote the management of accident-prone road sections, township road sections and encroachment on highway boundary crops, effectively improving the road environment in the jurisdiction.

"Gong Lu Ji Tuan" national unity and progress pioneer party building brand is a party building brand created by a number of units in the joint jurisdiction of Pingnan Highway Maintenance Center, among them, "Gong" is the ancient name of Pingnan County, "road" refers to the highway, "set" is to concentrate forces and build consensus, and "group" is unity, reunion and team. Since the establishment of the party building brand, the Pingnan Highway Maintenance Center has carried out more than 40 volunteer service activities with various co-construction units, serving more than 2,000 people.
In 2023, the "Highway Traffic Pioneer Matrix" party building platform won the "Transportation Power, Brand Power" transportation excellent communication power cultural brand, and the "Gong Lu Group Group" national unity and progress pioneer party building brand was awarded the second grassroots party building innovation case in the transportation industry.
Highway + industry, enhance the ability to radiate and drive
In the past two years, the Guigang Highway Development Center has combined the industrial resources, cultural and tourism characteristics of Guigang City and the rural revitalization and development of Qintang District, selected the 25.7-kilometer section from Qintang to Wuxuan on National Highway 209, and used the maintenance project to tailor the "Holland and Qintang Magnificent Highway" with the core of improving the "beauty of facilities, road area, greening, service, culture and spirit" of the highway.

The implementation of the project not only improves the quality of the road, but also creates a smoother and more convenient highway traffic environment for rural tourism, agricultural demonstration bases and major plate processing enterprises such as "Holland and Meitantang" along the highway, and empowers the high-quality development of the real economy along the route. The Qintang section of National Highway 209 has become the rural revitalization road, industrial revitalization road, and mass happiness road in Qintang District, Guigang City, and the project has also been successfully selected as one of the top ten innovative cases of highway assistance for rural revitalization in the country.
The "beauty" of the Qintang section of National Highway 209 is unforgettable, and the "makeover" of the section from Danzhu Town to Dazhou Village in Pingnan County of National Highway 241 is highly praised.
"I used to pass through here and get dusty, but now the environment is much better, and I feel more comfortable driving and walking. This is the personal feeling of residents living along the line from Danzhu Town to Dazhou Village in Pingnan County on National Highway 241.
There are many industrial enterprises along the section from Danzhu Town to Dazhou Village in Pingnan County on National Highway 241, and the freight is very busy. Affected by the crushing of heavy transport vehicles, the damage to the road section is becoming increasingly serious, and the surrounding environment is seriously dusty. With the efforts of the Guigang Highway Department, the pavement overhaul and reconstruction project of this section of the secondary highway was included in the first batch of Guangxi ordinary national and provincial trunk road service capacity improvement project plan of the Western Land-Sea New Corridor, with a total length of about 10 kilometers, which will be completed in May 2023.
After the renovation of the National Highway 241 line from Danzhu Town to Dazhou Village in Pingnan County, the road environment is more beautiful and the traffic capacity is better, which greatly improves the transportation efficiency of various building materials such as cement, mineral powder and ore for the factory and mining enterprises in Danzhu Town, and provides a solid traffic guarantee for the development of the local real economy.
Highway + service, enhance the awareness of initiative
"The Guigang Highway Development Center took the initiative to provide door-to-door guidance, which allowed us to quickly understand the process of handling road permits and the materials required, which saved us a lot of time and costs. The person in charge of the design, procurement and construction general contracting (EPC) project department of the Datengxia Water Conservancy Hub Irrigation Area Project of China Railway Tenth Bureau and Jintian and Luowang irrigation pieces said. At the end of October last year, the Guigang Highway Development Center efficiently assisted the company in handling the licensing of pressure steel pipes under the K157+140 section of Provincial Highway 304 and K209+924 section of Provincial Highway 206, and comprehensively did a good job in government service support and guarantee, which was recognized by the enterprise.
In 2023, the development center will take the initiative to change the concept of government services, carry out visits and research activities with the theme of "soliciting opinions, helping enterprises to bail out, and seeking common development", from passive "people looking for services" to active "service looking for people", actively visiting more than 50 road-related enterprises along the service highway, solving the problems faced by 39 enterprises, optimizing the service process, improving service efficiency and quality, and receiving thank you banners 4 times, which was well received by enterprises.
In addition, the Guigang Highway Department has built three "Driver's Home" convenient service stations in Qintang Menggong, National Highway 358, Gangbei Dawei and Guiping Ping'an, etc., to provide services such as love medicine boxes, mobile phone charging, convenient car maintenance tools and free Wi-Fi Internet access for drivers and passengers, so as to meet the parking and rest needs of drivers and passengers.
During the Spring Festival, volunteers from the Guigang Highway Development Center sent Spring Festival gift packages and New Year blessings to the past drivers.

During this year's Spring Festival, the Guigang Highway Department carried out the volunteer service activity of "Caring for Truck Drivers, Full of Love for Bagui Highway" to learn from Lei Feng, providing truck drivers with New Year gift packages, road condition information, love food, warm ginger tea and other services. It has served more than 1,000 people and drivers, continuously improving the sense of gain, security, identity and happiness of drivers and passengers, and effectively improving the safe traffic capacity and service guarantee service capacity of ordinary national and provincial trunk roads.
In the next step, the development center will continue to promote the diversified and integrated development of "Highway + N", continuously improve the highway infrastructure in Guigang District, and promote local economic and social development.
