一、OPPO A1i
On the one hand, the OPPO A1i smartphone has a network access model of PJU110, which is the same as the OPPO A2m that will be available in October 2023. On the screen, the OPPO A1i smartphone comes with a 6.56-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1612×720, a pixel density of 269 PPI, support for a 90Hz screen refresh rate and touch sampling rate, 8-bit color depth, and a strong Panda cover glass. In this regard, in the author's opinion, because of its own positioning, this model does not support a screen with a refresh rate of more than 120Hz.
In terms of core configuration, the OPPO A1i is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 chipset. According to public information on the Internet, the Dimensity 6020 uses an octa-core architecture, which includes 2 Cortex-A78 cores and 6 Cortex-A55 cores. The Cortex-A78 core handles high-load tasks such as large applications and games, while the Cortex-A55 core handles lightweight tasks for a more efficient energy efficiency ratio. In addition, the chip is equipped with a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU that supports LPDDR4X memory and UFS 2.2 storage.
In terms of camera configuration, the Oppo A1i smartphone has a 13-megapixel main camera on the rear, f/2.2 aperture, a 5P lens with AF autofocus, and a 5-megapixel selfie lens on the front, f/2.2 aperture, and a 3P lens. In this regard, in the author's opinion, the camera configuration of the OPPO A1i is really relatively basic. In other configurations, the Oppo A1i smartphone comes with a 5000mAh battery with no charging wattage, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a side fingerprint, and no IR and NFC support. As an entry-level phone, the OPPO A1i naturally does not lack a large battery configuration, which can also meet the needs of target users.
Price-wise, the Oppo A1i offers two storage combinations. Among them, the price of the 8GB+256GB version is 1099 yuan, and the price of the 12GB+256GB version is 1199 yuan.
二、OPPO A1s
On the other hand, the OPPO A1s is also equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 chipset. On the screen, the Oppo A1s smartphone comes with a 6.72-inch LCD screen. According to the introduction, the liquid crystal display, abbreviated as LCD in English, is a kind of flat panel display. It is used for screen display of TVs and computers. For LCD displays, the advantages are low power consumption, small size, and low radiation, which has become a common choice in the entry-level mobile phone market.
On the basis of the LCD screen, the OPPO A1s smartphone has a screen resolution of 2400×1080, a pixel density of 391 PPI, supports a 90Hz screen refresh rate and a 180Hz touch sampling rate, 8-bit color depth, and uses Panda Erqiang cover glass. In terms of camera configuration, the OPPO A1s smartphone has a 50-megapixel main camera on the rear, f/1.8 aperture, a 5P lens, supporting AF autofocus, a 2-million-pixel depth-of-field lens, monochrome style f/2.4 aperture, 3P lens, and a fixed focus, and a front 8-megapixel selfie lens, f/2.0 aperture, a 4P lens, which does not support AF autofocus.
In this regard, in the author's opinion, compared with OPPO A1i, the camera configuration of OPPO A1s has been significantly improved, such as the 50 million pixel rear main camera, which can meet the needs of most users for taking pictures. In terms of other configurations, the Oppo A1s smartphone comes with a 5000mAh battery with no charging wattage, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a side fingerprint, and no IR and NFC support. In the current smartphone market, there are fewer and fewer models with a 3.5mm headphone jack, which prompts the OPPO A1s to form a competitive differentiation effect.
Price-wise, the Oppo A1i smartphone is also available in two versions. Among them, the price of the 12GB+256GB version is 1199 yuan, and the price of the 12GB+512GB version is 1399 yuan.
