This is the largest batch of solid waste returned by Qingdao Customs this year.

The batch of solid waste was imported from Iran by a company in Guangdong, with a total of 70 containers and 1923.9 tons, and the declared product was named "iron concentrate". After the on-site inspection and sampling of Huangdao Customs officers sent to the laboratory for testing, it was confirmed that the sulfur and lead content of the goods seriously exceeded the standard. According to the staff of Huangdao Customs, the goods are actually by-products produced by the process of hydrometallurgy, non-ferrous metal extraction and purification, etc., and belong to the solid waste prohibited by the state.
