The Chengdu-Chongqing high-speed railway is an important part of the "riverside channel" in the mainland's "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed rail network, starting from Chongqing North Railway Station, passing through Yubei District, Shapingba District, Bishan District, Tongliang District, Dazu District of Chongqing City, Ziyang City, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province, and introducing Chengdu Hub Chengdu Station in Jinniu District, with a total length of 292 kilometers and a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour.
