On April 17, it was reported that Lenovo recently updated its ThinkCentre product line and launched 3 desktop products equipped with AMD Ryzen PRO 8000 series processors, specifically to meet the current needs of generative AI.
New products include the performance-focused ThinkCentre M75t Gen 5, the flexible ThinkCentre M75s Gen 5, and the compact ThinkCentre M75q Gen 5.
Powered by AMD Ryzen PRO 8000 series desktop processors, the M75t Gen 5 and M75s Gen 5 combine AMD RDNA 3 graphics, up to 64GB of DDR5 (5600 MHz) memory, and up to 2 TB of Gen 4 SSD storage, both of which offer blazing speeds, making them ideal for everyday business tasks such as browsing, office, email, media, and even the most data-intensive tasks.
The ThinkCentre M75q Gen 5 is a compact tool for banking, healthcare, and retail, featuring an AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 8700GE desktop processor, an AMD RDNA 3 GPU, and up to 64 GB of dual-channel DDR5 (5200 MHz) memory.
The Lenovo ThinkCentre M75t Gen 5 will not be available in North America, with the M75s Gen 5 scheduled to be available in May 2024 with an estimated starting price of $709 (currently about 5,140 yuan), and the M75q Gen 5 scheduled to be available in June 2024 with an expected starting price of $749 (IT Home note: currently about 5,430 yuan).
