In this regard, a few days ago, Jiyue told Yicai that the above-mentioned employees were terminated because of serious violations of Jiyue company regulations. The employee is an operator of Jiyue social media, but he opened a matrix account on all social platforms in his own name and hyped up the products of his friend Xiaomi SU7 for three months, violating the clause of the labor contract that "do not engage in business that competes with the company".
In addition, Jiyue claimed that the employee took leave without reason during his employment and did not show up for work by fabricating false reasons, which was a serious absenteeism and violated the company's labor discipline. Jiyue was formerly known as Jidu Automobile, a car brand jointly established by Baidu and Geely Automobile in January 2021 and released its first concept car, the ROBO-01, in June 2022. In August 2023, Jidu Auto changed its name to Jiyue, and correspondingly, Jidu ROBO-01 also became Jiyue 01.
