At the same time, Kweichow Moutai also officially issued the "Announcement on Receiving the Recommended Chairman Candidate Documents".
The announcement pointed out that according to the relevant documents of the Guizhou Provincial People's Government, Zhang Deqin is hereby nominated as a director and chairman candidate of Kweichow Moutai Liquor Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company"), and at the same time proposed that Ding Xiongjun will not continue to serve as the chairman and director of the Company. The company will comply with the relevant laws and regulations and the provisions of the Articles of Association, convene the board of directors and the general meeting of shareholders as soon as possible to deliberate on the above personnel changes, and formally take effect after the meeting is approved.
This announcement marks that Moutai Group has once again ushered in a new leader. Zhang Deqin, former Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Xijiu Group, will succeed Ding Xiongjun as Chairman of Moutai Co., Ltd.

According to the official account of Kweichow Moutai, on April 27, Zhang Deqin, Secretary of the Party Committee of Moutai Group, personally presided over the centralized learning activities of the Theoretical Learning Center Group of the Party Committee of Moutai Group. On the same day, Zhang Deqin also led a team to go deep into the liquor making and storage workshop to inspect and understand the production and quality status of Moutai.
