"Jiang Xiaobei" was born in the Harbin Police Dog Training Base, is a pure Malinoa dog, docile personality, serious work. "Jiang Xiaobei" is the name given to it by Ye Chaolemen, implying that the encounter between the two sides is fate in itself.
"Sitting, lying, standing, leaning, walking, searching ······" Ye Chaolemen will train "Jiang Xiaobei" on basic passwords every day, and improve the enthusiasm and excitement of the police dog to the password and cultivate its good obedience by introducing inducements such as action praise, reward food, and touching and tickling. In order to keep "Jiang Xiaobei" in a state of imminent combat at all times, he will conduct olfaction, screening, and warning training for it every day, and introduce a "game link" into the training, through the form of "hide and seek", let the police dog find random hidden search objects, and give corresponding rewards, so as to improve the police dog's ability to deal with emergencies and respond on the spot.
"Jiang Xiaobei" is active by nature, at first, disobeyed some of the instructions, Ye Chaolemen took various methods to help it overcome, online classes, check information, ask the old trainer for advice, during the period also joined some dog WeChat groups, through the combination of professional and amateur training to make "Jiang Xiaobei" professional skills quickly proficient. Four months later, Ye Chaolemen returned to the Sagagang border checkpoint with the drug-searching dog "Jiang Xiaobei", officially opening the road of patrolling and protecting the border.
In order to make "Jiang Xiaobei" more "versatile", after the work is over, Ye Chaolemen will take "Jiang Xiaobei" to carry out search and explosion learning. In the process of learning to search for explosives, Ye Chaolemen will often change the target for intensive training, and in the daily training, Ye Chaolemen will put biscuits, fish and other snacks in the training tank to interfere with the search for the target by "Jiang Xiaobei". Again and again, "Jiang Xiaobei's" sense of smell became more and more sensitive to the target.
Once after the endurance training, "Jiang Xiaobei" was rewarded to play, just ran out of a hundred meters, it suddenly showed a warning action, this place is a small piece of rocky beach, Ye Chaolemen wanted to let "Jiang Xiaobei" leave first, but "Jiang Xiaobei" expressed unwillingness to move his body, no way Ye Chaolemen can only look carefully in the small stone pile, and finally Ye Chaole Men found two detonators in the crack of a small stone pile, and later after investigation, this is the detonator left over from the quarrying of the mine in the early years. This incident also made Ye Chaolemen more confident in training "Jiang Xiaobei's" explosive search skills.
Hulunbuir's winter was freezing cold, in order for "Jiang Xiaobei" to adapt as soon as possible, Ye Chaolemen took it to cold training. Day after day, he repeats tactical movements, skills, and physical training, so that "Jiang Xiaobei" can always maintain a high level of work.
In October 2023, Ye Chaolemen and "Jiang Xiaobei" were assigned to Beijing to participate in the explosion-proof security inspection task of the 3rd Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation. During the mission, Ye Chaolemen took the dog to work 24 times, the security area was 49,780 square meters, and 48 pieces of contraband were seized.
During the "Fourteenth Winter" security period, Ye Chaolemen and "Jiang Xiaobei" were transferred to participate in security work three times, with a total of more than 1,400 hours of work. The duo can often be seen shuttling back and forth at the event venues, resident hotels, and vehicle entrances, and their comrades-in-arms call them "mobile security machines".
After fighting tough battles, Ye Chaolemen and "Jiang Xiaobei" have become the "best partners" to overcome difficulties. In the past three years, Ye Chaolemen and "Jiang Xiaobei" have been close and fought side by side. As of March 2024, they have carried out more than 280 drug searches and inspections on passing vehicles on the front line of the border, more than 160 border patrols, with a total length of more than 1,300 kilometers, and completed more than 30 major security tasks at the national and autonomous region levels, which were commended by the Ministry of Public Security.
