ACM SIGSPATIAL China is committed to promoting the innovation and application of spatial data research paradigms and spatial intelligence theories and technologies in the fields of spatio-temporal big data, smart cities, transportation science, and social governance. In order to further promote the theoretical development and application of spatial data intelligence research, and exchange new theories, new problems and new methods in related fields, ACM SIGSPATIAL China Chapter established the Spatial Data Intelligence Academic Conference (SpatialDI). The 5th SpatialDI 2024 Conference will be held in Nanjing from April 25 to 27, 2024. Experts, scholars, students and representatives of enterprises engaged in related fields are welcome to attend the conference!

Speaker: Xueying Zhang

About the Speaker

Xueying Zhang is a professor and doctoral supervisor at Nanjing Normal University. He has successively served as the deputy director of the Key Laboratory of Virtual Geographic Environment of the Ministry of Education, the director of the Key Laboratory of Geographic Information Science of Jiangsu Province, and the deputy director of the Key Laboratory of Police Geographic Information Technology of the Ministry of Public Security. He has long focused on the interdisciplinary field of big data, artificial intelligence and geographic information science, and is committed to the research of geographic big data mining, geographic knowledge graph, geographic large model and humanities and social GIS. He has presided over and participated in the National "863" Program, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Science and Technology Support Program, the National Key R&D Program and provincial and ministerial scientific research projects, and the research results have been applied to public security, meteorology, natural resources, civil affairs, statistics, history and culture and other fields.

Summary of the report

In the context of the accelerated development of AGI, geographic intelligence has evolved from computational intelligence and perceptual intelligence to cognitive intelligence. At present, knowledge graphs and large models have become the foundation and core of machine cognitive intelligence. In view of the bottleneck problem faced by knowledge graphs and large models in "geographization", this report tries to clarify geographic data, The connotation difference and relationship between geographic information and geographic knowledge, the basic framework of geographic large model combining knowledge graph and large language model is constructed, the scientific theory and key technology of geographic knowledge graph and large language model are discussed, the phased achievements in related fields are introduced, and the development trend and challenges of geographic knowledge graph and geographic large model are analyzed, so as to provide reference for the scientific research and social application of geographic knowledge engineering.
