The exterior design is like that, so what about its powertrain?
I thought that the replacement version of Haval H6 would be upgraded to use Hi4 hybrid four-wheel drive system, but judging from the pictures, there is no; because plug-in hybrid cars have fuel fillers and charging ports, the charging ports are generally designed on one side of the rear fenders, and individual vehicles will be designed on one side of the front fenders, and through the above pictures, you can't see that the front fenders have charging ports, and the following group of pictures only shows one side of the fuel filler, so this generation of Haval H6 is expected to focus on the fuel version.

Interpreting the power unit
The current Haval H6 has three powertrains, which are distinguished by the engine.
- 1.5T, 4G15 series
- 1.5T, 4B15 series
- 2.0T, 4N20 series
Great Wall Motor's self-developed 1.5T engine has two series, 4G15 is a multi-point EFI machine with intake manifold position injection, which is a relatively old model, and its power reserve is only 110kW/218N·m, which is lower than some 1.3T-1.4T engines, so this engine is no longer suitable for the new Haval H6 in the author's opinion.
4B15 is a direct injection engine developed by Great Wall Motors, and the direct injection in the cylinder is also a multi-point EFI, but the fuel injection nozzle is moved from the position of the intake manifold to the cylinder, and the injection pressure is upgraded from about 1.5bar to about 500bar, but the general direct injection gasoline opportunity is 350bar. Higher fuel injection pressure can make the fuel more ideal atomization, fuel injection into the cylinder will become a fine oil beads, the smaller its diameter, the easier it is to evaporate; the second stroke of the internal combustion four-stroke engine is called the compression stroke, its function is to evaporate the fuel by raising the temperature of compressed air, the combustion efficiency of gaseous fuel exceeds that of liquid fuel, so the high injection pressure can make the fuel more fully burned, in layman's terms, it can get more power.
The 4B15L equipped with the Haval H6 adopts Miller cycle technology, and its compression stroke is smaller than the expansion stroke, and the theoretical power will be weaker, but its power reserve still reaches 135kW/275N·m, which is much higher than the 4G15M 1.5T engine.
The 2.0T engine used to be the 4C20B, now it has been changed to the 4N20, which also uses special cycle technology.
It has a maximum output of 155 kW and a maximum torque of 325 Nm.
Its parameter level does not seem to be high, but it is still good in the same type of engine, so if Haval H6 can continue to use this engine can also effectively enhance competitiveness, but it is not necessarily meaningful to launch a four-wheel drive version, I think most potential users of the Haval brand will choose the plug-in hybrid four-wheel drive vehicle equipped with Hi4 system.
At the end of the article, I will briefly talk about the Hi4 system developed by Great Wall Motors, which is a four-wheel drive platform composed of three engines.
The front-wheel drive part is a 1.5-liter or 1.5-liter engine with a 70 kW front motor that also belongs to the engine, and the rear wheel drive part is a 150 kW rear motor that can also output power as an engine for plug-in hybrid vehicles. So the performance of this hybrid four-wheel drive is still very good, 1.5L Hi4 is equivalent to a high-performance 2.0T, and 1.5T Hi4 is equivalent to a high-performance 2.5T.
It is believed that the new Haval H6 will also launch the Hi4 version, but the time is temporarily unpredictable.
