Recently, the Xiaoshan Brigade of the Hangzhou Public Security Traffic Police found in the daily video inspection that a vehicle suspected of driving without a license was driving on the road. The command center of the brigade immediately carried out a research and investigation, and quickly locked on the target.
The command center of the brigade immediately linked up with the Xintang Duty Squadron of the traffic police to arrange for the police on duty on the road to intercept it. At about 16 o'clock on March 8, the police successfully intercepted him at the Nanxiu intersection of the Tangmei Line.
During the investigation, the police found that the driver was actually an "old face", it turned out that as early as October 5, 2019, the driver Cao was revoked by the public security traffic police department for driving a motor vehicle while drunk, and he was not allowed to reapply for a driver's license within five years. It is still undocumented.
Not only that, the police found in further investigation that Cao had a "long criminal record" and was administratively detained for driving without a license many times from 2020 to 2024, including 10 days of detention for driving without a license on February 26 this year and a fine of 1,000 yuan.
According to Cao's confession, he drove home after finishing work that day, and was seized by the traffic police when he passed through the Nanxiu intersection of the Tangmei Line. When the police asked Cao why he knowingly committed the crime, he said that he needed a car for his work, and he always had a fluke mentality, thinking that he would not be easily arrested, so he drove on the road.
In the end, in accordance with relevant laws and regulations, the police detained Cao for 14 days and fined 1,000 yuan for the illegal act of driving without a license.
Hangzhou public security traffic police reminded
The driver's license is in a state of cancellation, revocation, expiration, suspension, etc., and the driver's license holder has lost his driving qualification and is not allowed to drive a motor vehicle on the road.
According to article 160 (4) of the "Procedures for Handling Administrative Cases by Public Security Organs", where the offender has received a public security administrative punishment within six months or received two or more public security administrative punishments for similar illegal conduct within one year, he shall be given a heavier punishment.
