Every resident who lives in the "old and small" community has different versions of home troubles, but in Kaifu District, many residents of the old community express the same joy in the common way of sending pennants: thanks to the government's old community renovation project, the "old and small" has changed greatly!
On the 15th, the reporter visited the Kaifu District Urban Human Settlements and Environment Bureau and found that in the past year, Kaifu District has started to renovate 74 old communities, and the bureau has received more than 50 pennants from residents.

Improving space, strengthening quality, and "maximizing" people's livelihood are the symbols of urban development, which is not only the glamorous "face" of skyscrapers, but also the "foundation" for the improvement of people's livelihood for residents living in old communities. Kaifu District combines the renovation of old residential areas with regional development and people's livelihood and well-being, so that the optimization of human settlements and urban development resonate at the same frequency. According to statistics, a total of 538 old residential areas were built before the end of 2000, involving 74,400 residents and a total construction area of 5,465,800 square meters. From 2019 to 2022, 354 have been renovated. In 2023, Kaifu District will start to renovate 74 old communities, and this year it is planned to complete the transformation of the remaining old communities in two batches, with the first batch of 66 and the second batch of 44, focusing on solving people's livelihood issues such as functionality and safety.

Buildings No. 2, No. 4 and No. 18 in Hengqingli are tube buildings built in the early 70s of the last century. There are many illegal buildings in the community, and the environment is dirty. In recent years, there have been many cracks in the building, which seriously affects the safety of residents' lives and property. The Kaifu District Urban Human Settlements and Environment Bureau adopted a combination of urban dilapidated housing renovation and old community renovation to renovate and upgrade three houses in Hengqingli. In accordance with the principle of due diligence, after repeated research and demonstration, in accordance with the requirements of relevant laws and regulations, on the premise of not breaking through the contour line of the original house, the kitchen and toilet were increased for each household, and the gas was brought into the household. It has realized the gorgeous transformation from "melancholy" to "good living", from "old look" to "new look". On May 25, 2023, the representative of the residents of Hengqingli sent a pennant with the words "Always care about the dangerous house when it is difficult to work, and benefit the people in the face of difficulties" to express their gratitude.

Before the renovation, the dormitory of the Hunan Silk Factory was dilapidated, with no street lights, and there were many hidden safety hazards...... Kaifu District Human Settlements and Environment Bureau constantly adjusts and optimizes the construction plan with "user thinking". After the transformation, the top floor here is not leaking, the underground is not blocked, the pipelines are not chaotic, the corridors are not dark, and the community function is more perfect.
In the process of renovating old communities, Kaifu District has always focused on the needs of "one old and one young", focusing on making great livelihoods from small incisions, solving the problems of the masses, and supporting "great happiness" with "micro-harmony".
On November 12, 2023, the owner's representative of the Jiangbin Rose Garden in Furong North Road Street sent the 45th pennant of last year, "The party's kindness is as deep as the sea, and the policy of benefiting the people is the people's livelihood". Mr. Huang, the owner's representative, was particularly satisfied with the renovation effect, he had not been at home for a long time, and when he came home, he almost didn't recognize it, and the "old and dilapidated" had become a garden house.
After the renovation of the riverside rose garden, residents sighed that the "old and dilapidated" became garden houses.
Before the renovation, the basic supporting facilities of the "Rose Garden" were weak, and there were problems such as rain and sewage confluence, road subsidence, roof leakage, pipe network blockage, and lack of fire-fighting facilities. In the process of renovation, in view of the problems of cluttered greening, water accumulation on rainy days, muddy roads, and many mosquitoes, through unified planning, weeds are eradicated, land leveling, seedlings are replanted, and benches are added to beautify the environment. After the renovation of the Riverside Rose Garden Community, in the words of residents, the park is right outside, and the "Rose Garden" is worthy of its name, and it is currently actively applying for a 3A-level green and complete residential community.

Heavy supervision, eliminate hidden dangers, happy and stable "can be influenced" Xiangtu Community is located at No. 155, New Wharf Road, Wujialing Street, and there is an umbrella-shaped water tower with a height of 32 meters and a maximum outer diameter of 12 meters. Due to the abandonment of the water tower for many years, the concrete structure has been damaged to varying degrees, and the steel bars in some positions have been exposed and corroded, which has major safety hazards and seriously threatens the safety of residents' lives and property. Below the water tower is the Beijing-Guangzhou Railway, which poses a threat to the safety of operation along the railway. Kaifu District Urban Human Settlements and Environment Bureau set up a special class to formulate a feasible demolition plan, organize expert review, which lasted for a month, overcoming difficulties such as difficulty in high-altitude work, slag discharge, and safety supervision, so that the stones hanging in the hearts of residents were safely dismantled. After the safety hazards were eliminated, the residents of the community were given more space to move, and the safety along the railway line was also guaranteed. On September 10, 2023, the representatives of the community sent a pennant of "Eliminating Hidden Dangers, Obeying the People's Will, Fulfilling Their Duties and Warming the Hearts of the People" to express their heartfelt gratitude for the renovation work.
After the renovation, the old community is full of green trees. Kaifu District will fully implement the requirements of "Industrial Quality and Efficiency Multiplication Year" and "Responsibility for Good Implementation Year", based on the "improvement" of quality, "manufacturing" of temperature, and "management" of the level, do a good job in the on-site management of the renovation of 74 old communities in 2023, accelerate the completion and acceptance of the project, start the transformation and construction of 110 old communities in 2024, promote the balanced, green and high-quality development of urban areas, and continue to increase people's livelihood and happiness.
