In order to thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping's ecological civilization thought and the spirit of the National Conference on Ecological and Environmental Protection, and implement the requirements of our province to comprehensively enhance citizens' awareness of ecological civilization, from April 12th to April 13th, sponsored by the Shaanxi Provincial Environmental Protection Publicity and Education Center, undertaken by the Baoji Environmental Protection Publicity and Education Information Center and the Shaanxi Provincial Environmental Protection Volunteer Federation, and co-organized by the Federation of Community Social Organizations of Jinger Road Street, Weibin District, Baoji City, the provincial environmental protection social organization capacity building exchange activities were held in Baoji. Wang Xinlong, member of the party group and second-level researcher of Baoji Ecological Environment Bureau, attended the event and delivered a speech.
The organizer of the event said that this event is a powerful practice of in-depth study and implementation of the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech at the National Conference on Ecological and Environmental Protection, aiming to promote the construction of a beautiful China, broaden and enrich the path and content of public participation in environmental governance and volunteer service in the new era, and strive to integrate publicity resources and build a cooperation platform to promote the construction of a national action system for ecological and environmental governance. At the same time, environmental protection social organizations should be guided to play a unique advantage and important role in promoting the construction of a national action system for ecological and environmental governance.
The event invited relevant experts and scholars to interpret and introduce the "Opinions of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council on Comprehensively Promoting the Construction of Beautiful China", "Yellow River Protection Law", "Charity Law" and "Public Participation in the Ecological and Environmental Supervision Work".
During the event, all the staff were organized to go to the Weigong Road Community and Xinmin Road Community of Jinger Road Street, Baoji City to observe the Baoji Urban Low-carbon Community Demonstration Project and the Food Waste Treatment Project of Lukong Environmental Protection Technology (Baoji) Co., Ltd.
Nearly 50 people, including representatives of the province's ecological and environmental volunteer service organizations, environmental protection social organizations, and university environmental protection clubs, participated in the event.
