The creation of the national anthem has witnessed the selfless dedication of the older generation of revolutionaries to national liberation, and has also witnessed generations of Chinese playing the strongest voice on the stage of history and the world stage.
Recently, the first lecture of the "Song for the Country" series of master classes of the Great Ideological and Political Brand Project was held at the National Anthem Exhibition Hall, inviting Yu Hai, former head of the military band of the Chinese People's Liberation Army and a first-class conductor of the country, to come to the scene and give a lecture on the theme of "Love Our National Anthem the Most".

The keynote speaker, Yu Hai's artistic career, is often related to major national celebrations: he has conducted the PLA Military Band to participate in the National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the National People's Congress and the National People's Congress, national celebrations and major foreign affairs activities, and has been praised by party and state leaders and foreigners many times. At the first lecture of the series of master classes, as a special lecturer of "Song for the Country", he talked about the relevant knowledge of the mainland national anthem and many foreign national anthems from the overview of the national anthem and the development process of the "March of the Volunteers".
"March of the Volunteers" was born in 1935, with lyrics by Tian Han and music by Nie Er. At that time, Tian Han wrote the script of the film "Children of the Storm" with the theme of resisting Japan and saving the country, but he was arrested and imprisoned by the Kuomintang reactionaries as soon as he completed a story synopsis and the lyrics of a theme song. Subsequently, Xia Yan, a member of the Communist Party and a dramatist, took over and wrote the story into a script, while Nie Er took the initiative to compose the theme song. Since then, an impassioned "March of the Volunteers" has been written, which not only demonstrates the strong character of the Chinese nation, but also conveys the voice of the nation and the call of the motherland, and inspires the patriotic spirit of hundreds of millions of Chinese sons and daughters.
Zheng Zhongqing, a first-year student from Tongji University, listened carefully in the audience. As the birth process of the national anthem slowly presented in the lecturer's mouth, she seemed to be in the history of gunsmoke and hard work, and her blood was bursting. "Today's master class has deepened my understanding of the people and things behind the national anthem, especially the experience of Tian Han and Nie Er in composing the "March of the Volunteers", which made me particularly moved. ”
