The global synthetic biology market is expected to maintain a rapid development momentum in the foreseeable future, growing into a global market with a volume of nearly $50 billion by 2028.

Chen Guoqiang, director and professor of the Center for Synthetic and Systems Biology at Tsinghua University, believes that biomanufacturing is a combination of basic biological research, molecular modification technology and industrial manufacturing technology. He said that the emphasis on biomanufacturing in the government work report has strengthened their determination and belief in in-depth research and development in this field.
