It is understood that the new car will be positioned as AMG's high-performance flagship SUV model, and the main competitors in the same class include BMW XM, Lotus ELETRE, Aston Martin DBX, Lamborghini Urus and other models, and is expected to be introduced into the domestic market in 2026.
According to anonymous sources, Mercedes-AMG's new flagship SUV is similar to the current AMG GLE 63, with a body length of about 5,100mm and a wheelbase of 3,000mm. At the same time, the overall exterior design will also borrow the same design elements as the Vision concept. According to Mercedes, the new model will be a pure AMG model, with more emphasis on performance and driving dynamics.

Mercedes-AMG's new flagship SUV will be based on the AMG.EA platform, with an 800V electric platform equipped with a high-performance battery pack and an axial flux electric motor developed specifically by Yasa for AMG, with a combined output of more than 1,000 horsepower (approximately 746kW), while the next-generation AMG BEV will also be equipped with advanced torque vectoring, self-leveling active suspension and four-wheel steering.
