In the 60s of the 20th century, Chen Yongquan created and adapted a number of cross talks, such as "So Amorous", cross talk dramas "Who Do You Look Like", "Miss City" and so on.

In order to keep improving, the two took the notebook and found the famous Peking Opera performance artist Mr. Li Wanchun to humbly ask for advice, and as a result, they got a lot of true legends. Chen Yongquan said: "We have blended many performance techniques in Peking Opera, such as the appearance of small flower faces, playing fans, as well as some fairy tale dramas and local operas, with the performance skills of cross talk itself, so that the audience can see the live effect, so that the audience can feel a lot of intriguing meanings in laughter." ”
