On April 14 (this Sunday), the 2024 Wuhan Airport International Business City Half Marathon will start at 7:30 a.m. The Traffic Management Bureau of the Wuhan Municipal Public Security Bureau issued a notice on the control measures and detour tips for some road sections during the competition, and a number of bus routes will be temporarily adjusted.
Details are as follows
1. Basic information of the event
Half Marathon Route: Jingyun Road (starting point of Airport Center) - Hangcheng West Road - Xinglong Road (turn right) - Hangcheng East Road (turn right) - Hangcheng Avenue - Intersection of Hangcheng Avenue and Hangcheng West Road (turnaround point) - Hangcheng Avenue (turn right) - Provincial Party School (turnaround point) - Hangcheng East Road - Xinglong Road (turn right) - Julong Avenue - Yedian Road intersection (turnaround point) - Xinglong Road - Jingyun Road (Airport Center end)
Healthy Running Route: Jingyun Road (starting point of Airport Center) - Hangcheng West Road - Xinglong Road - Binlian Road - Huayun Street - Hangcheng East Road - Jingyun Road (Airport Center Terminal)
2. Temporary traffic control roads and detour sections
Prohibited vehicle parking: From 22:00 on April 13 to the end of the competition, the following roads are prohibited from parking: Julong Avenue, Xinglong Road, Hangcheng East Road, Hangcheng Avenue, Jingyun Road.
Temporary traffic control section: From 6:30 on April 14 to the end of the race, all race routes are prohibited from passing, and motor vehicles are prohibited from entering the Tangyunhai intersection of Panlong Avenue, Songgang 1st Road, and Songgang 2nd Road intersection of Tenglong Avenue. Temporary traffic restrictions will be implemented at adjacent sections and intersections of the above roads as appropriate.
During the temporary traffic restriction measures, the auxiliary roads on both sides of Julong Avenue will be allowed to pass in the same direction.
Lifting time: From 7:30 a.m. on April 14 to the end of the race, temporary traffic restrictions will be lifted on all race roads at different times and in stages according to the progress of the event.
1. It is estimated that at 9:00, Hangcheng West Road, Hangcheng Avenue, Hangcheng East Road, and Huayun Street will resume traffic.
2. It is expected that at 10:00, Xinglong Road (east side) and Julong Avenue (south side) will resume traffic.
3. It is estimated that at 10:20, Julong Avenue and Xinglong Road will resume traffic.
4. It is expected that at 10:30, except for the temporary traffic restriction measures at the intersection of the main venue, all other roads will resume traffic.
Detour suggestion: Vehicles from the airport expressway to Julong Avenue should detour to Lujiashan Road, and vehicles west of the Xinglong intersection of Julong Avenue should detour to Jiahai Road.
3. Some bus routes are temporarily adjusted
Adjustment time: 6:00 to 12:00 on April 14, 2024.
Adjust bus routes: P26, 229, 299, P141, P142, 298, 291, P22 and other bus routes have been adjusted.
Suspended bus lines: P170, P106, P145
