Thanks to the application of electrification technology, these domestic brands are now able to develop high-performance vehicles more conveniently. Taking BYD as an example, the company already has the strength to build its own supercar, and the latest masterpiece, BYD Wangwang U9, the first batch of trial production vehicles, has successfully arrived at the company's sales network, taking a solid step for the brand's breakthrough in the high-end market.

At last year's launch event, the model was unveiled and showcased a number of eye-catching high-end features, but its final MSRP has yet to be officially announced. Given BYD's positioning in the market, the supercar is expected to cost more than one million yuan, and the price may even surpass the brand's U8 hardcore off-road model. This pricing strategy reflects the car's extensive carbon fibre construction, which aims to reduce vehicle weight, improve performance and fuel economy.
BYD had launched the S8 roadster, but the design was not good. Now that BYD is leading the way, the new Yangwang U9 sports car has a more refined design and is equipped with complex round-and-roll headlights.
The nose is raised on both sides, the middle section is low, and the sides of the car are equipped with butterfly doors and frameless glass. At the rear, there are waterfall taillights and a large, conspicuous fixed carbon fibre rear wing.
BYD's supercar's interior design highlights the sporty character, with a wide range of suede and red stitching. The driver and co-pilot each have a symmetrical screen, with the co-pilot screen providing independent entertainment, a first for a supercar. In addition, the central control is also equipped with an independent vertical screen vehicle machine system.
Four electric motors with an output of 240 kW each, totaling 1,306 horsepower, give it the lead in the supercar. Thanks to the motor's explosive power, its acceleration performance may surpass that of the Bugatti Chiron.
