Before the liberation, there was such a "folk song" among the people in central Lu:
There is no grain for those who farm
There is no house for those who build houses
The rags worn by the weavers
The landlord enjoys the blessings of the old wealth
A few knives in the chest of the poor
The rent is heavy
High interest rates
The amount of taxes is uncounted
There are so many bandits
A few roads in front of the poor man's door
Throwing
Cliff jumping
hang oneself
Imprisoned
This "Folk Song" indicts the decay and darkness of semi-feudal and semi-colonial old China, and expresses the bitterness and suffering of the common people.
