During the activity, the people's police used Internet business premises as the main propaganda front, communicated face-to-face with the masses through various methods such as computer screensavers and the distribution of publicity materials, and combined with local typical cases, explained in detail to Internet café practitioners and Internet users, the harm of online rumors, the methods of identifying rumors, and the legal responsibilities that may be borne by spreading rumors, reminding netizens to pay attention to the protection of personal information, raise awareness of prevention, consciously resist online rumors and online violence, and become practitioners of the construction of Internet civilization.
At the same time, the people's police also inspected whether the Internet cafes had carried out real-name registration, whether there were minors using the Internet, and whether the security management system was sound. All Internet cafes are required to operate in strict accordance with relevant laws and regulations, operate in accordance with laws and regulations, strictly perform network security protection obligations, and implement real-name Internet access and on-site inspection systems.
