In April 2023, Huawei launched the upgraded ADS2.0 advanced intelligent driving system for the first time in the M5 Intelligent Driving Edition. As of September 2023, the average mileage of ADS2.0 long-distance piloting has been increased to 200km.

In terms of hardware solutions, Huawei uses algorithms to achieve peripheral support at the perception layer, using a total of 27 sensors, and using the assisted driving chip MDC610 as the core computing unit to provide 200 Tops of computing power.
