Before the meeting, the participants visited the construction site of the G36 Ningluo Expressway Bridge and the G329 Linhuaiguan Bridge across the Huaihe River. The participants had a detailed understanding of the construction situation of the project, construction progress, technical highlights, advanced tooling, etc., and conducted in-depth exchanges on the process tooling such as high-power rotary drilling grading holes, double-walled steel cofferdam pilot hole sinking, and multi-functional hydraulic climbing formwork.

The G36 Ningluo Expressway across the Huaihe River Bridge undertaken by China Railway Fourth Bureau and a company is a key control project of the Ningluo Expressway Reconstruction and Expansion Project, and the main bridge adopts (45+123+218) m single-tower asymmetrical cable-stayed bridge, which is the single-tower asymmetrical cable-stayed bridge with the highest height and the largest span of the Huaihe River. The Mingguang-Bengbu section of G36 Ningluo Expressway is an important part of G36 Ningluo National Expressway, which is a strategic passage from the Yangtze River Delta region to Anhui, Henan, Shaanxi and Northwest China, as well as an important highway connecting the Yangtze River Delta Economic Circle. The construction of the project is of great significance to promote the rise of central Anhui Province, drive the revitalization of northern Anhui, promote the economic development of northern Anhui, and accelerate the integration of the Yangtze River Delta.

The G329 Linhuaiguan Bridge across the Huaihe River is a double-tower double-cable-stayed bridge, with a span and width in the forefront of the Huaihe River Basin bridge. The main body of the bridge is a composite structure of concrete side girder + steel beam + bridge deck without outer flange, which is the third in the world and the second in China. The G329 Fengyang-Bengbu realignment project will promote the implementation of the national strategy of the Huaihe River Ecological Economic Belt, promote the linkage development of the regional economy of Chuzhou and Bengbu, and at the same time, will further improve the planning and construction of the regional road transportation network and the ordinary highway network in Anhui, which is of great significance for strengthening the transportation links between Anhui and Zhejiang provinces and boosting the integrated high-quality development of the Yangtze River Delta.
