It turned out that the Longting Lake Scenic Area implemented ecological restoration and revetment renovation projects, and in order to ensure the safety of tourists, the Longting Scenic Area and Tianbo Yangfu Scenic Area were closed for management.
Longting Park is located in the core of Longting Lake Scenic Area in Kaifeng City, the ancient building group built according to the layout of Wanshou Palace in the Qing Dynasty, from south to north by the Wumen (the south gate of the scenic spot), the Jade Belt Bridge, Songhu, the Chaomen, the East and West Chaofang, the Zhaobi, the Longting Palace, the Song Dynasty Wax Museum, the East and West Hanging Flower Gate and the East and West Cross Courtyard, the Northern Song Dynasty Tokyo City and the Imperial City Model, the Northern Song Dynasty Imperial City Gongchen Gate Ruins, the "Five Mountains True Monument" Square Pavilion, the North Gate, etc., and the bonsai garden, plum garden and other garden landscapes, is the national AAAA-level tourist scenic spot. Tianbo Mansion is the residence of Yang Ye, a famous general of the Northern Song Dynasty, located in the northwest corner of the capital of the Northern Song Dynasty, Tokyo (now Kaifeng, Henan), next to the Jinshui River of Tianbo Gate, so it is also known as "Tianbo Yang Mansion". Tianbo Yang Mansion is an ancient building complex of the Song Dynasty restored to commemorate the famous patriotic general Yang Ye of the Northern Song Dynasty, aiming to carry forward the patriotic spirit of the Yang general. In recent years, Kaifeng City has increased the environmental renovation and development of Longting Scenic Area, transformed the shore of Yangjia West Lake, and built a beautiful landscape amusement park. The ecological restoration and revetment renovation project is another upgrade of the landscape of Longting Lake Scenic Area, which will further expand the influence of the scenic spot and enhance the tourism image of Kaifeng.
During the Qingming Cultural Festival alone, the city received a total of 2.3639 million domestic tourists and achieved domestic tourism revenue of 1.26 billion yuan, an increase of 28.96% and 51.8% respectively in 2023, and an increase of 134.2% and 138.8% respectively compared with 2019.
