Some users who placed an order for Leapmotor C16 found that the C16 extended range version was suspected to be priced at 155,800 yuan when they checked the order on the official App of Leapmotor. The car is positioned as a large 6-seater SUV, which is larger than the competing BYD Tang except for the width, equipped with nearly 100 luxury configurations, and will be launched and delivered in June.
The C16 is equipped with a closed grille + through-type headlight cluster, a large-size blackened trapezoidal grille under the grille, a watchtower-type lidar and luggage rack on the roof, hidden door handles on the side of the car, and a blackened window trim. The rear of the car offers a large extension rear wing, with a high-mounted brake light in the middle, and the rear tail lights also have a continuous design to echo the headlights.

The C16 electric version is equipped with a drive motor with a maximum power of 215kW and a maximum speed of 160km/h. The extended range version is equipped with a 1.5L range extender provided by Xiaokang Power, with a maximum power of 70kW, a maximum motor power of 170kW, and a maximum speed of 170km/h.
