Zhidian Travel has learned that Bentley's new fourth-generation Continental GT model will make its debut in June, and it is expected to go on sale in the second half of this year at the earliest. At the same time, the new car is also expected to continue to be imported into the domestic market in the third quarter of this year, and will be replaced with the same powertrain as the Lamborghini Urus PHEV model.
As can be seen from the spy photos released, the head of Bentley's new fourth-generation Continental GT model has been replaced with a new double-circle LED light cluster, replacing the original "four-circle" LED headlight cluster design, and providing a large blackened mesh grille. At the rear, a stout, double-sided single-exit exhaust layout is used, while twin oval LED taillight clusters are mounted above the tailgate.
In terms of power, Bentley's new fourth-generation Continental GT models will be completely discontinued W12 series models, and replaced with a plug-in hybrid system composed of a 4.0T V8 twin-turbo engine + electric motor, with a comprehensive maximum power of 575kW and a peak torque of 1000N·m, and the transmission system may be matched with an 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox, with a pure electric range of up to 80 kilometers. According to overseas media, the chassis of the new car also combines active all-wheel drive with torque vectoring, four-wheel steering, electronic rear-wheel LSD and a new adaptive dual-valve damper.
