At 10:30 a.m. on April 8, at the construction site of the West Extension High-speed Railway in Huangling County, Yan'an City, Shaanxi Province, as the crane truck slowly hoisted the catenary pole into place, the first pole of the West Extension High-speed Railway Catenary was successfully assembled with the participation of China Railway Electrification Bureau, marking the full start of the construction of the "four electrics" project of the West Extension High-speed Railway.
According to Zheng Wei, project manager of the West Extension High-speed Railway of China Railway Electrification Bureau, the "four electrics" project is the general name of the communication, signal, power and electric traction power supply project in the construction of high-speed rail, and is the "central brain" and power source of the entire high-speed railway.
During the construction process, Xicheng Passenger Dedicated Shaanxi Company, as the construction unit, instructed the project department to use the "smart production dispatching and command platform" to comprehensively improve the on-site management level, scientifically and finely organize construction operations, and promote the project construction safely, high-quality and efficiently. The application of "intelligent pre-configuration", "mechanized installation", "unmanned duty" and "BIM technology visualization work instructions", "catenary embedded channel detector", "catenary intelligent diagnostic device", "light digital display elastic sling installer", "high-speed rail lithium battery precision tightening system", "constant tension erection car" and other construction technology and equipment innovation achievements, mechanized and automated construction, to ensure the high-quality and high-precision erection of the whole line catenary.
The Xi'an-Yan'an high-speed railway is the first high-speed railway in the old revolutionary base area of northern Shaanxi, an important part of the national high-speed railway network Baohai (Yin) Hai high-speed railway channel, and the Xiyu-Chongqing high-speed railway under construction to form a north-south corridor, is an important component of the main skeleton of the "m" high-speed rail network in Shaanxi Province, and is a key construction project during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period. The total length of the line is 299.8 kilometers, and the construction standard is a double-track high-speed railway with a design speed of 350 km/h. After the line is completed and put into operation, the running time from Xi'an to Yan'an will be shortened from the current two and a half hours to about one hour, which is of great significance for further promoting the strategy of developing the western region, helping the rural revitalization of the old revolutionary areas, accelerating the construction of the Baohai high-speed railway channel, further improving and optimizing the layout of the national high-speed railway network, and enhancing the geographical advantages of Shaanxi Province and the status of the national railway network hub.
