Worthy: It's not known exactly when LeBron will retire, but AD needs to be ready

author:Tiger Basketball

Tiger Punch September 19 news Lakers star James Worthy recently talked about Lakers forward Anthony Davis in the TV show.

Asked if Davis should return with the biggest momentum of the team, Worthy said: "It's time. You know, LeBron (James) went into his 19th year of his career, AD still has three or four years on a contract, he's only 28, so he's at that age. LeBron has done it before, and he has very high requirements as a leader, playing the most valuable player. So, any time you have that level of talent, you don't want to back down. I can foresee that maybe LeBron will still be LeBron in the 20th year of his career, but AD is also coming, and he is the future.

"If LeBron decides to retire, I don't know exactly when he'll do that, AD needs to prepare himself to be that elite level player. He has many years left in the league, and he's learned a lot while playing with LeBron, as well as playing around other veterans this season. So it's time for him to become a fighter. He's shown that when he's in perfect shape, he's the guy and there's no doubt about that. When he's fully committed and away from injury, he's the most dominant player on the pitch. ”
