In the seventh stage of the Dakar Rally, BRX team Loeb won the automotive stage championship

The 2022 Dakar Rally ended on the evening of 9 January with a race for Stage 7. BRX Team France's Loeb won the automotive stage, while Toyota's Qatari driver Atiyah and Audi's Spain veteran Sainz finished second and third. Atiyah remained ahead of the overall table, with Loeb trailing 44 minutes in second place. Chilean rider Conejo, who drives a Honda in the motorcycle group, won the stage championship, and the overall results table leads the Yamaha team Van Beveren.
