Deservedly selected players
Abdul Salamu / Salinjie / Hu Jinqiu / Sun Minghui
In the 2023/24 CBA regular season, all the best awards were released, and Abdul Salamu won the MVP of domestic players without any suspense, and he was in full attendance in 52 games this season, averaging 19 points, 10.2 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 1 steal per game. Xinjiang finished second in the regular season this season, and Abdul Salamu took on the offensive responsibility in the absence of Zhao Rui and Zhu Xuhang, and was full of presence on the defensive end, and deservedly won the MVP this season. The MVP of international players belongs to Shenzhen foreign aid Sallinger, the current Shenzhen offensive level is limited, but Sallinger is still the mainstay of the inner line, which also allows them to retain the eighth place in the regular season, and Sallinger deserves to be selected as the best international player.
Zhejiang Guangsha ranked fifth in the league this season, Hu Jinqiu and Sun Minghui contributed a lot, and the golden duo's blocking and dismantling offense was close to being unsolvable, which was the basic factor of Guangsha's offense and defense. Hu Jinqiu ranked third among domestic players in points per game this season, once ranked first, and ranked first in the league in true shooting percentage. Choi Young-hee/Shayok/Yang Hansen
Choi Young-hee started the season high and went low, winning the best defensive player in his first month, but his personal performance at the end of the second and third periods fell badly, and his presence on both the offensive and defensive ends was not strong. Choi Yong-hee and his ability to hold the ball and attack independently is not sustainable enough, and he often appears invisible in a single quarter. Choi Yong-hee has performed well this season, but not enough to make the best team. Shayok has not adapted to the team's tactical system this season, and his personal form has been mediocre in many games, and Shandong's results have plummeted, so Shayok's selection in the best international team is not convincing.
Yang Hansen averaged 2.2 blocks per game this season and ranked second among domestic players with 10.8 rebounds, but he was not voted Defensive Player of the Month, and it was a bit unexpected that he became the best defensive player. There is no suspense that Yang Hansen will be selected as the best new player, but his inclusion in the All-Star team is not convincing for a while, and Yang Hansen is currently having problems with his own offense and basket confrontation. Young Hansen will certainly be strong in the future, but he really shouldn't be in the first team and the best defensive player selection, and it is reported that he will not be drafted in the NBA for two seasons.
In the shortlist of backcourt players for the best domestic player lineup, Zhejiang's Wu Qian and Cheng Shuai Peng ranked 3rd and 4th respectively in cumulative contribution points, but only Wu Qian won the best sixth man, which is not reasonable for Zhejiang, which is third in the regular season, and the strongest team in the first place in the offensive and defensive league in the third stage. Choi Yong-hee ranked 5th in terms of contribution value, and Hu Mingxuan ranked 8th at the bottom, and he just performed better in the third stage. Yuan Shuai averaged 20.8 points per game this season to rank second among domestic players, first in the league with 3.3 three-pointers per game, and second with 154 three-pointers. It was a big surprise that Yuan Shuai had missed the All-Star this season, but he won the three-point contest with an absolute dominance over Jia Mingru. CBA's cumulative contribution value calculation method is a bit problematic, can not be more objective and comprehensive evaluation of the player's performance, the original coach has been underestimated this season, of course, this is related to Shanxi's heavy offensive and light defense tactics, they scored 3rd in 100 rounds, and conceded 17th in the league. And teammate Zhang Ning also performed very well and was elected the best player of the month in April, but he did not win any awards.
