Before the archaeological excavation of the Li Ya site, there was much controversy in the academic community about the location of the Qin ancestor Feizi fiefdom. The excavation of the Liya site confirmed that Qingshui was the birthplace of Qin culture. The archaeological focus is on the investigation of the Niutou River and its tributaries in Qingshui County, and the distribution of ancient cultural sites in the basin is basically understood. In this area, the Li Ya site near Qingshui County is not only large in area, but also rich in cultural accumulation, which is unique among the sites in the entire Niutou River Basin dominated by the Zhou Dynasty culture. Qingshui County Museum has also collected a number of pottery with commercial style at the Li Ya site, which is very important. It was finally determined that Qintingpu Village in the Qinting River Valley at the foot of Qinle Mountain, Qinting Town, Qingshui County, was the location of Qinyi, the fief of Qin Zufeizi. The Qin people began to grow stronger and stronger, and then moved eastward into the Central Plains, establishing the first unified feudal centralized dynasty in Chinese history.
