Located in Zhuqiao Town, Pudong New Area, Shanghai, the Oriental Hub Shanghai East Railway Station project has a total construction area of 1.387 million square meters, including 160,000 square meters of high-speed rail station buildings. Through the national railway, municipal railway, urban rail transit, etc., it will form a comprehensive transportation hub with Shanghai Pudong International Airport, undertake the important functions of the national coastal corridor, lead and support the urban development of the surrounding areas of the hub, and serve to promote the integrated and high-quality development of the Yangtze River Delta.
The main structure of the underground project of Shanghai East Railway Station of the Oriental Hub mainly includes the station building, air-rail intermodal transport module, urban atrium and underground part of the corridor, etc., and the simultaneous implementation of the MRT reservation project, as well as the foundation pit, foundation and main structure of the long-term related line access reservation project, with a total construction area of about 374,600 square meters.
In view of the safety risks such as multi-level combined precipitation of ultra-large-scale foundation pit groups in the underground engineering construction of Shanghai East Railway Station of the Oriental Hub, as well as the risks and hidden dangers caused by the use of a large number of new equipment and new processes, the project management department actively builds a smart construction site. Establish a monitoring and control center, integrate supervision and third-party monitoring and testing forces, implement intelligent, information-based and platform-based management of foundation pit monitoring, and adopt the "online + offline" risk control mode to realize the dynamic monitoring and real-time early warning of the whole process of foundation pit construction risks.
The total scale of the planned national railway and municipal railway depot is 15 sets and 30 lines. In the future, the station will also be connected to the second phase of the Shanghai-Sutong Railway and the planned Shanghai-Zhai-Hangzhou Railway, and can introduce the Shanghai-Suzhou-Lake Railway, the Shanghai-Nanjing Yangtze River High-speed Railway, and the Shanghai-Nanjing-Hefei High-speed Railway. In addition, Shanghai Rail Transit Line 21 will also introduce the Oriental Hub Shanghai East Railway Station to set up a station.
It is reported that Pudong New Area will also take Shanghai Pudong International Airport and Shanghai East Railway Station, the oriental hub, as the core, to build an oriental hub comparable to the Hongqiao hub, which will help Shanghai form a pattern of "Hongqiao hub in the west and oriental hub in the east", and become a world-class transportation hub connecting the Yangtze River Delta and the world.
