I am Liu Hongfu from Changsha Zoomlion Environmental Industry Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Infore Environment, and I am in charge of the functions of science and technology management, strategic development and operation management.
My speech is divided into three aspects, the first is to talk about the development trend of sanitation vehicles, today's theme has been pointed out, new energy is the biggest trend. The second is the concept of the integrated design of our sanitation vehicles in the fuel era, as well as some situations of the integrated research and development of sanitation vehicles in the new energy era.
First of all, the previous leaders have introduced the benefits of the policy is very obvious, including the recent large-scale equipment update, sanitation is the key equipment update content, new energy has just been talked about, not much to say, including the maintenance of air quality, as well as the improvement of the rural living environment. We believe that last year was the bottom of our industry, the bottom of the past seven or eight years, only 26 billion scale, we think from this year should be bottoming out.
There are two main reasons, on the one hand, the policy is good, on the other hand, the value of new energy is still higher than that of fuel vehicles, so we believe that the sanitation industry should be thriving in the next few years. Our company's scale of 26 billion in the industry last year accounted for about 25%.
New energy, the leaders of XCMG also said, including the general manager of CRRC, Mr. Feng also said, new energy can be developed, a very important reason is the development of battery technology and the decline of battery costs. There is a saying in the industry, our new energy sanitation car companies are working for the chassis factory, and the chassis factory is working for the battery factory, I think it makes sense. Conversely, advances in battery technology and falling costs should also help sanitation vehicles transition to new energy sources.
At present, looking at the economy of our new energy sanitation vehicles, it is about 2.5 to 3 years of payback period for cleaning and cleaning of three vehicles on the road, and the purchase price is more expensive than that of fuel vehicles, which can be earned back through the savings of three years of operating costs. Garbage collection trucks are about 4 to 5 years old. Therefore, as long as the charging facilities and charging piles are allowed, whether it is a state-owned unit or a private sanitation operation company, it will focus on considering new energy vehicles, which is also an important reason why the development of new energy vehicles in the field of sanitation is so fast. Last year was 8% of the new energy penetration rate, this year is expected to exceed 10%, more than 10% later, we believe that the development of new energy sanitation vehicles has entered a critical point of rapid growth, in addition to the payback period is very short, there is also a reference basis is passenger cars, look at the figure above, passenger car new energy penetration rate from more than 13%, every year is basically doubled, because it will have a scale effect and consumer acceptance. Judging from the first half of this year, the proportion of bidding for new energy vehicles in the industry has indeed increased significantly.
I would like to focus on a trend here, sanitation machinery also has a trend of robotization, why do you say so? Everyone here should also pay attention to the motor road, whether it is a cleaning motor vehicle, or a garbage collection and transportation vehicle, as long as the road running in the sanitation field is almost more than 90% of the mechanization. A large number of sanitation workers are doing sidewalks, auxiliary roads, green belts, urban villages cleaning and garbage collection, this our company has a say, because our sanitation service industry has done almost 6 billion, and we have nearly 100,000 sanitation workers. The aging of this part of the sanitation workers in the industry is very serious, the average age is about 55 years old or older, and what will these people do in the future? There must be a day when they can't do it, are young people willing to do it? You let him operate the equipment, let them take a dustpan broom, the probability is unrealistic. The mechanization rate of this segment is very low, and there is a major positive at present, that is, AI technology has come, and AI technology will help to achieve real unmanned driving - L5 level unmanned driving. Especially after the release of AGI general artificial intelligence, it is expected that there will be a market of 20 to 300,000 small sanitation robots in five to ten years, and the scale will reach about 40 billion, creating a sanitation machinery industry. However, in the past two or three years, it seems that there is not much chance of significant growth, because the development of AI is still in the stage of technical verification, and large-scale commercial use is still difficult.
Just now the experts of the Ministry of Communications said, now the regulations still require each unmanned equipment to be equipped with a safety officer, for the sanitation industry, in the sanitation industry, unmanned equipment to be watched by safety officers, there is no economic value, does not have the value of commercial promotion. Only when the L5 level is completely unmanned, one person controls 10 or 20 devices, and these robots operate in the back streets and alleys, regardless of it, and the era of our sanitation robots has really come. This is also the vision of our enterprise, a very important sentence in our corporate vision, we are the industry leader led by sanitation robots, and it is clear at the beginning that our future products are going to be robotized. Of course, the era of robots must also be the era of new energy, and new energy and robotization are the major trends of industry development I want to talk about.
At present, our company's fuel vehicles still account for about 75% of our company's sales scale, and the design of fuel vehicle era and chassis integration has been relatively mature, including the integration of structure, power, performance, and electronic control.
Structural integration is well understood, commercial vehicle chassis to our company is used to modify our operating device, so when we cooperate with all car companies, we will first of all the wheelbase, the width of the girder, the front overhang, the rear overhang, etc., where to put what things, we and the chassis factory will make a detailed match, to ensure that the modification is feasible, economy, efficiency, safety can be guaranteed.
The integration of power is also very easy to understand, after all, we also have a load, although it is said that the sanitation truck is not overloaded like the freight truck, and we generally do not overload. However, we still have to rely on chassis power to drive and take power, so the integrated matching of the chassis of these powers is also an important factor that we must consider in the early stage of research and development.
The integration of performance is also very easy to understand, whether it is comfort, or climbing, maximum speed, etc., including operation, we have to cooperate with the chassis factory.
Electronic control needs to be integrated and developed, and we must use the chassis to install the power supply and air source, and we must pull through the interface and protocol.
It should be said that the development of fuel vehicle chassis and sanitation vehicle tops has been very long, and everyone is familiar with the integrated design of this piece, so I will not introduce it here.
Focus on introducing some of our ideas and concepts in the integrated design of sanitation vehicles in the new energy era.
First of all, we are called four-dimensional integrated design, one more than three-dimensional is software, and now we have developed a peak control system, and the chassis integrated control platform is installed on it.
The overall idea is to be dedicated, energy-efficient and comfortable. Special, that is, the characteristics of the chassis and bodywork, all of which are fully integrated in the control system. Energy saving is what several experts just said, in the new energy era, if my products are not energy-saving, battery life is anxious, or the battery is too big, the economy is very poor, it is difficult to promote. Therefore, as long as it can meet the local operation requirements, it can meet the regulatory requirements, and the economy is very good, which is the focus of our new energy consideration. Comfort, which is a major selling point of new energy vehicles compared with fuel vehicles, is very good in terms of quietness and smoothness in all aspects.
This is the overall architecture design of our integrated product, including our various product modules, which will not be expanded here.
The integrated design takes into account the integration of security, as well as the integration of technology integration and technology upgrading. Safety aspects include safety interlocking, chassis bodywork integration, isolation of high and low voltage, and so on. The integration of technology integration and technology upgrading, the integration of control strategies, and our cloud platform, this cloud platform is something that we have spent a lot of effort to make, including the later upgrade, and the programs installed on the chassis are controlled and integrated together. I won't go into the technical details here.
Here we focus on the integrated design of the chassis and bodywork of small equipment, our company is very optimistic about small equipment, but in fact, it is very distressing at present, why? Because our integration is the ultimate, the reason is that there is no chassis in the commercial vehicle industry, so we have to develop the chassis ourselves, the chassis and the bodywork control system, or AI, structure and other aspects, the bodywork chassis are integrated development. But I want to talk about another suggestion here, if the experts agree with the industry trend I introduced earlier, there may be 300,000 units or 500,000 units of small sanitation equipment in the future, if you add logistics or other industries, it may be a million-level market, there is currently no commercial vehicle chassis factory to pay attention to this piece, will be a commercial vehicle chassis factory to focus on it, the development of chassis from 0.5 tons, 1 ton to 3 tons of small operations, this market is very promising. From our point of view, the future must be the era of professional division of labor, and it is impossible for a whole machine to be developed by an enterprise from beginning to end. The specialty of the chassis factory is to make chassis, whether it can make a general small chassis, all industries can use it, so that the efficiency and cost will be better. At present, we believe that although the integration is doing well, we are not doing well in the current market commercial success.
This is our big data diagnosis platform, because the era of fuel vehicles does not have this condition, the new energy era, because the control system of the chassis and the sensor are integrated in all aspects, and our cooperation with the chassis factory is also very smooth, and now we can provide customers with remote diagnosis, rapid troubleshooting, early warning analysis, including real-time data value-added services. The value-added service department of the data is only service maintenance, including the analysis of energy consumption, working conditions, drivers' habits, and economic analysis of different vehicles at different times, so as to provide customers with the underlying real data, tell him what time you should do the car, how the driver should be trained, so that the use of the car is the best and the lowest cost.
At the same time, we also have a set of cloud platform, which is also based on the underlying physical layer data and the operation layer of big data analysis model to give some clear suggestions to customers. This platform, we integrate the physical platform of the underlying vehicle, as well as the ERP platform of the operation of the sanitation enterprise, and the integration of the human resources platform, this platform we have developed for about 5 years, not only more than 200 projects of our company, more than 70,000 workers and nearly 20,000 equipment in use, all the data management personnel can be seen on the mobile phone, the mobile phone is better than the computer side, so that every action is very accurate, every cost is not wasted. At the same time, our own managers and even our colleagues in the non-service sector are using the system. This system is a benchmark in the industry, and in addition to our own use, many of our peers are purchasing our system, including the government. Because our platform is also free for users to use, we charge a certain service fee every year, of course, a one-time buyout is also possible. This is for some customized customers, the front page is our standard interface, this is for customized customers, especially some government projects, it has to be connected with their urban management system, we can do customization. Of course, enterprise customers are the same, and they also do custom development. This platform is the integration of ERP, the Internet of Things, including the experience of sanitation vehicle operation and management, equipment manufacturing, after-sales service fault diagnosis related data, this is the last content I introduced today.
