On April 7, the Jiangsu Provincial Public Security Department reported 10 typical cases of cracking down on and rectifying online rumors, including the online rumor case of Nantong Yang fabricating "his nephew lost his winter vacation homework in Paris", the online rumor case of "a woman ordering more than 30,000 yuan on a blind date", and the online rumor case of "Hailing's 90-year-old man broke up and was sentenced for arson".
On February 17 this year, in order to gain attention and attract fans, Yang spread rumors about a school under the short video of "Primary School Students' Winter Vacation Homework Left in Paris Toilet" on an online platform, and posed for photos and live broadcasts to the bookstore to buy new homework and give it to his nephew as the "owner" uncle, causing a negative impact on relevant schools and disrupting public order. Yang has been administratively punished by the public security organs.
In addition, in the Yancheng investigation of the "woman on a blind date ordering more than 30,000 yuan" online rumor case, on January 10 this year, the Yancheng public security organs found that Li Moumou, Sun Moumou and others collected on the Internet in order to attract fans and drain traffic, illegally make profits, and collected "The woman spent more than 30,000 yuan on a blind date to order food, the blind date object left the scene angrily, and the woman maxed out her credit card", added false content such as time and place for adaptation and filming, causing adverse social impact and disrupting public order. Li XX and Sun XX have been taken criminal compulsory measures by the public security organs in accordance with the law, and the case is being further investigated.
In the case of Taizhou Qi Moumou fabricating "Hailing 90-year-old man broke up and was sentenced for arson", on March 5 this year, in order to gain attention and attract fans, Qi Moumou used AI technology to generate and publish the rumor information that "a 90-year-old man in Hailing District went to his ex-girlfriend's house to set fire to his house after breaking up and was sentenced", causing a negative social impact and disrupting public order. Qi Moumou has been administratively punished by the public security organs.
