Recently, Zhunan Community, Changxindian Street, Fengtai District, carried out the "Weekend Health Day" activity for public health cleaning.
A reporter from Beijing Youth Daily learned that during the activity, the community staff gave full play to the dedication spirit of "not afraid of dirty and tired", wearing blue volunteer vests, holding tongs, garbage bags and other labor tools to comprehensively clean up cigarette butts, garbage and sundries in the public areas of the jurisdiction. The cleaning lasted for more than an hour, and through joint efforts to make the environment of the community park look new, the environmental sanitation clean-up activities received the attention and recognition of the passers-by, and the passers-by gave a thumbs up.
In Beijing in early spring, the weather is still a little cool, but the event site is in full swing. The community publicity group also guided residents and volunteers in front of the garbage sorting bin and repopularized the classification knowledge, and the residents on the scene made the garbage classification deeply rooted in the hearts of the people through the garbage classification game, and vigorously promoted the formation of residents' garbage classification habits.
The cleaning team, social workers, departments and volunteers worked together to clean up the fallen leaves on the side roads of the small garden of Zhunan Community, and "deeply beautify" the community public fitness garden. In the pick-up group, volunteers picked up clips, propped up bags, picked up white garbage and dog poop, cleaned up piles of materials in green spaces, liberated public spaces, and eliminated potential fire safety hazards in winter.
It is reported that Changxindian Street will continue to carry out weekend cleaning and garbage classification theme publicity activities, steadily promote the 2024 garbage classification standards, and the creation of demonstration communities, so as to enhance residents' good awareness of garbage classification, develop good habits, and add color to the construction and sharing of a happy home.
