Black Mercury Lotus

I was across from the little flower, looking at the hornbeam. It is a small deciduous tree, with beautiful leaves, up to 5 meters high, the crown is tight and untidy, the bark is dark gray-brown, the wood is tough, and it can be used to make farm tools, furniture, and daily utensils.
A friend accompanied me to see Xiaohuazi, who grew up in Hongshi Peak and is familiar with the landscapes and plants here. If he hadn't said that the tree in front of me was called a hornbeam, I wouldn't have known it. I caressed the tree and put my ears to it, listening to the sound of the sap flowing, and every time I got to know a new plant, my feelings could not be expressed in words.
I wrote the name of the hornbeam on my phone with the date on it, and that's the day we met. After writing the last word, the blue tail root chirped, about a thousand meters above sea level is where it lives, I looked at the mountain, one by one, I couldn't find which tree it was on.
Hongshi Peak is a desolate and remote place, few people arrive, preserving the original appearance of Changbai Mountain, the primeval forest coverage rate is as high as more than 95%, and the natural skills are superb, carving strange pine stones for Hongshi Peak. The water resources here are abundant, the Wudaobai River (called the Niya Muniaku River in the past, also known as the Niangniangku River) that originates from the broken house ditch at the eastern foot of Changbai Mountain, rushes through the front of the Hongshi Peak Mountains, the water revolves around the mountain, the mountains and rivers embrace each other, and the rapids pass through the dangerous shoal, the scene is grand and magnificent. The small flower is the best starting point of the Hongshifeng forest, and the Manchu language is the meaning of big stone, which mostly refers to the steep and sharp and unattainable convex landform formed by the rock. The flowers here are mottled in color, with pink Jindalai, known locally as "flower stones", and there are two large and small seats, 500 meters apart.

I met the black mercury lotus again, and I saw it many times in the past few days. After a day or two, the flowers are all open.

See sparrowhawks on the banks of the Fur River, hovering over the woodland, with a loud sound that spreads far away. In the sun, the sparrowhawk feathers are full of color, and it is a small but powerful bird of prey, with a powerful flight ability, which can reach hundreds of kilometers per hour, and often flies in the trees.
Before I had an unexpected encounter with Rabbit Tail Miao, this sparrowhawk stuck a pole, and this guy was showing his strength and flying all the way to the other side. Walking into the riverside woods, in the open space surrounded by a few oak trees, I bumped into rabbit tail seedlings. I recognized it at a glance, it had a distinctive appearance, and the corolla tube was purple or blue. The stems are erect, usually unbranched, and reach a height of about 1 meter. Leaves lanceolate, apex tapering, base rounded obtuse or broadly wedge-shaped, sometimes shallow heart-shaped, marginal teeth thick, long spike-shaped, peduncle long. If you see this flower once, you won't forget it.
I knew it very early, and when I was a teenager, I played by my grandmother's river, carrying cans and bottles to catch crucian carp seeds, willow roots and loaches in the river. Accidentally slipped on the rabbit's tail seedlings and pounced on them to crush several trees. Grandma smiled and said: "You have close contact with Rabbit Tail Miao, Rabbit Master is fortune, and he will make a fortune in the future." "Grandma said a joke, afraid that I would be unhappy after slipping and distracted. It turned out that I only knew that it was a wild flower, but I didn't know its name, and I listened to my grandmother and remember the wild flower with the word rabbit. No matter where I am, every time I meet a rabbit tail seedling, I think of the little river loop, my grandmother's jokes and the names of flowers. Grandma was washing clothes by the water, waving a mallet, and constantly beating clothes, and the fat foam flowed downstream. Grandma's joke relieved me of embarrassment and I got up with water stains on my clothes.
I later read in the book that the rabbit tail seedling is its local name, and its scientific name is long-tailed Pona, a perennial herb in the family Scrophulariae. The growing environment is mostly hillsides, meadows, meadows and understories. The blue flowers of the rabbit tail seedlings are elegant, into spike-like inflorescences, and a large group of them compete to open, and the style is not ordinary. I compare the two names, I can't figure it out, botanists may be based on the hook shape of the leaf tail, named the long-tailed mother-in-law, but I feel that the rabbit tail seedlings are better-sounding, not only catchy and easy to remember, but also the difference between the words "long tail" and "tail seedlings" highlights the regionality.
During my days by the Faure River, I walked through the woods every day, stopping as I passed and playing with the rabbit's tail for a while to see what had changed. In the early morning, the sun is insufficient, and the leaves are covered with dewdrops, or dew - at night, the ground object cools rapidly, and the air temperature drops, and after falling to the dew point, excess water vapor precipitates, condenses into Xiaoice crystals, and then dissolves into water droplets on the object. I'm not interested in the word dewdrop, I think dew is more poetic and can play a lot of imagination. Everyone's perception of things is different, and emotions will naturally change. The word water is vast, and the bead character is limited by the size of the area, so when I see the dew on the flowers and plants, I prefer to call it dew.
Early in the morning, I passed by the miscellaneous woods, stopped by the rabbit's tail seedlings, touched the dew on the leaves, and reminisced about the written record. This wild flower may seem weak, but it actually hides powerful medicinal powers.
I heard my grandmother say that the rabbit tail seedlings are delicious. After blanching in hot water, remove and drain, and then add salt, monosodium glutamate and other seasonings, which is a good plate of mixed vegetables. You can also stir-fry, and the noodles below taste very good. It's a pity that I haven't eaten it, but I've just heard about it.

There are a lot of mosquitoes and small bites here, and if you stay too long, you will become a target for attack, not a matter of two bites, these bad guys are not big, but they can't stand the things they do. I angrily stretched out my hand and slapped my face several times, but I was so busy that I didn't even catch a shadow.
Next to the rabbit tail seedlings, there are Venus ferns and white English. The Venus fern walks horizontally, with long rhizomes and lanceolate or broad-lanceolate leaves, and is named "Venus fern" because the sporangia group grows near the top of the lateral veins of the lobes, and is spherical and golden-yellow. The leaf can be used medicinally, its taste is sour, cool, and returns to the liver meridian, which has the effect of astringent and hemostasis. White English is a grassy vine of the Solanaceae family. The corolla is blue-purple or white, the stem is cylindrical, yellow-green or brownish-green on the outside, the leaves are alternate, most of them are lyre-shaped, and the apex is acute. Baiying is also a traditional Chinese medicine, which has the functions of clearing away heat and dampness, detoxifying and reducing swelling, and they are good neighbors, taking care of each other and living in this land. I greeted the several wildflowers and plants I saw here, not wanting to take one over the other, and getting along with them on an equal footing.
Walking out of the miscellaneous trees, I came to the Fur River, and the grass on the bank was covered with sorrel leaf knotweed, yellow artemisia, pearl plum, impatiens, wild mugwort, evening primrose, small fluffy grass, spiral flower, and tea maple. The golden-eyed plover walks alone, with golden yellow around its eyes and a white spot in the center of its forehead. It foraged for food as it walked through the wetlands near the river, making a faint call. Not far ahead, I spotted a few more clusters of rabbit tail seedlings. Decided to walk over and observe the difference between it and the woods.
