Square Enix has opened a new merch shop with themed pet supplies

author:3DM Game Network

Square Enix has opened a new pet-themed merch store in Japan, featuring merchandise inspired by games like Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, and Kingdom Hearts.

The store, called "Squex Pets", even invited Tetsuya Nomura, the director of the Final Fantasy 7 and Kingdom Hearts series, to supervise the creation of merchandise.

Products currently available in the store include themed leashes, bandanas, and a pet bed in the shape of a Dragon Quest slime. There are also toys that destroy the shape of the sword, although it does not resemble a real sword.

The dogs dressed in Sora-themed costumes are also cute, but unfortunately there are no key sword toys to perfectly restore the shape.

Tetsuya Nomura also created a new cutie logo specifically for the series, featuring Crimson XIII and the cat goblin from Final Fantasy 7.

Square Enix's official account shared more upcoming products, and these photos are from the Interpet exhibition, which is currently taking place in Tokyo. The product line also appears to include scratchers and moguli pet beds.

The store is currently only open in Japan, and all products are under development and will be available soon.
