On the morning of March 30, the opening ceremony of "Loquat Welcome", the "Loquat Beauty" loquat tasting meeting, and the "Loquat King" selection theme activity were held in the activity square of Zhongba Loquat Industrial Park in Makou Town, and the three-month Yongshan Loquat Cultural Tourism Season was officially opened. According to the maturity time of loquat in the main producing areas along the Yangtze River, this event will set up branch venues in Makou and Daxing respectively, integrating agriculture, culture, tourism, sports, commerce and other industries, and continuing to cultivate the regional brand of Yongshan loquat.
In recent years, Makou Town has continued to promote the construction of "one town, one industry, one village, one product", expanded and strengthened the characteristic "loquat" industry, and driven the masses to get rich with the pattern of "party building + industrial development".

Now our output value per mu has reached 12,000 yuan, and we will continue to optimize in the future, making the fruit (planting) bigger and sweeter, and going to all parts of the country. ”
At present, 16,000 acres of loquat are planted in Makou Town, mainly distributed in 6 villages (communities) such as Makou Community, Liqi Village, Yuma Village, Yanping Village, Xinying Village, Xuejin Village, etc., and 6,000 acres of loquat have been put into production, which are exported to Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Yunnan, Guizhou, Sichuan and Chongqing through the introduction of loquat acquisition agreement point acquisition, professional cooperatives, network platforms and order sales.

Grasp the expansion of the area, the town currently has 23,000 acres, more than 6,000 acres in the peak fruit period, and strive to break through 30,000 acres in 2025; grasp the management, around the planting, branching, thinning, fertilization and other management; grasp the quality, here is the earliest implementation of the "double network and double set", standardize the sparse flowers and fruits, this year more than 50 grams of excellent fruit rate of more than 70%; grasp the strong chain, the yard mouth loquat planting and sales is carried out in the mode of farmers + professional cooperatives + companies. This year, we have purchased loquat from Beijing, Shanghai, Zhejiang and other places. It is estimated that the average household income can reach more than 50,000 yuan. In the next step, we will continue to combine the integration of agriculture and tourism to create a "magical code, loquat town", and develop the loquat industry into a "golden ball, rich fruit" for the masses. ”
At present, 60,000 acres of loquat are planted in Yongshan County, 40,000 acres have been put into production, with an output of 40,000 tons and an output value of 500 million yuan. It is planned to develop to 200,000 mu in 3 to 5 years, and make every effort to promote the standardization and chain development of the county's loquat industry.
